Dear Atul,

Oracle recommends to create different domain directories or home for Admin & Managed Servers . As admin server configuration should be same all across the nodes in cluster to facilitate the failover successfully during issue on any node so to keep configuration symmetrical , it is adviced to keep the domain directory of admin server different then the managed servers and also adviced to keep it on the shared storage. Also managed servers configuration changes as per requirements so we should keep a different domain directory then admin server that can be put locally or on shared storage. Hope i answered correctly.
