With Product Family ATG<\/span> version H Roll Up 3 , Oracle Introduced New Option in FNDCPASS<\/span> which is ALLORACLE<\/span><\/strong> to Change password of all Schema provided by Oracle Application products. These are basically below three category password
\n–These are mainly schema password for products like AP, GL<\/span>, AR (These are also termed as of mode ORACLE )
\n–Password for APPLSYS<\/span> and APPS (Same password for both schema) . This is also called as Apps Password (used during CM startup<\/span>)
\n–Password for account APPLSYSPUB<\/span><\/p>\n

How to change Oracle Applications Products\/Schema Password including APPS ?<\/strong>
\nAs most of you might already be aware that you use FNDCPASS<\/span> utility on Concurrent Manager Node.
\nFNDCPASS<\/span> logon<\/span> 0 Y system\/password mode username<\/span> new_password<\/strong><\/em>
\nWhere MODE<\/strong> is SYSTEM\/USER\/ORACLE\/ALLORACLE<\/span> (Introduced with patch 4745998)<\/p>\n

Will ALLORACLE<\/span> mode change other schema passwords like CTXSYS<\/span>, MDSYS<\/span>, PORTAL..,SYS<\/span>, SYSTEM, SCOTT, Application User like AtulKumar<\/span> …. ??<\/strong><\/p>\n

No ALLORACLE<\/span><\/strong> mode will change only schemas<\/span> mentioned in paragraph 1 and will not change passwords for schemas<\/span> like CTXSYS<\/span>, MDSYS<\/span>, SYS<\/span>, SYSTEM…..<\/p>\n

Is previous Mode SYSTEM\/USER\/ORACLE still available with FNDCPASS<\/span> ?<\/strong>

What files to change after changing Apps Password ?<\/strong>
\nYou use FNDCPASS<\/span> apps\/apps 0 Y system\/manager SYSTEM APPLSYS<\/span> WELCOME <\/em>to change Apps Password
\n–Once you change apps password you need to change apps password stored in file wdbsvr<\/span>.app at $IAS<\/span>_ORACLE_HOME\/Apache\/modplsql<\/span>\/cfg<\/span><\/p>\n

–In some instances you might have to change in CGIcmd<\/span>.dat<\/span> at $ORACLE_HOME\/reports60\/server<\/p>\n

–You also have to change in any custom concurrent manager start up<\/span> script (If you have any)<\/p>\n
