Oracle E-Business Suite uses three OC4J<\/strong> (oacore<\/strong>, oafm<\/strong> & forms<\/strong>) for Java Applications including Forms and HTTP Server<\/strong> for static HTML content.<\/p>\n

All these four components are\u00a0managed (including startup\/shutdown)\u00a0by OPMN<\/strong> (O<\/strong>racle P<\/strong>rocess M<\/strong>anager & N<\/strong>otification) .<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong>How to troubleshoot\u00a0status code 204\u00a0 Issue for OC4J ?<\/u><\/strong> <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> <\/strong>First check startup log at $LOG_HOME\/appl\/admin\/log\/ adoacorectl.txt<\/strong>, adoafmctl.txt<\/strong>, adoaformsctl.txt<\/strong>
\n2. <\/strong><\/strong>Next check log at\u00a0 $LOG_HOME\/ ora\/ 10.1.3\/ opmn\/ opmn.log
\n<\/strong>
\n<\/strong><\/strong> If you see error like
\n<\/strong><\/strong> —-
\n09\/07\/22 18:28:10 [libopmnoc4j] Port information in the ONS notification is incorrect for proc: 1154637034. Some of the reasons for the failure are:
\n1. ajp, rmi and jms ports could not be bound by the process.
\n2. If a port value for a certain port ID is handed by OPMN to the OC4J process and this value is not returned back in the ONS notifications. For example, this can happen for certain bad JGroups related configurations.

This\u00a0could be because of .lock<\/strong> files and\u00a0explained in Metalink Note 372412.1<\/strong> OC4J Fails to startup with “ERROR Failed to set the internal configuration of the OC4J JMS Server”

3.<\/strong> If all services are up and running and you still get “Page not found<\/strong>” in Apps R12, then<\/p>\n

Check logs in $LOG_HOME\/ora\/10.1.3\/opmn\/oacore_default_group_1\/oacorestd.err

\n1.<\/strong> Check if not other service is using JOC port (JOC port is defind by parameter s_java_object_cache_port<\/strong> in context file), run Autoconfig and test again<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Disable JOC by changing s_long_running_jvm<\/strong> in context file from true<\/strong> to false<\/strong> and run Autoconfig
