AIA<\/strong>– Application Integration Architecture
\nSOA<\/strong>– Service Oriented Architecture
\nOSR<\/strong> – Oracle Service Registry
\nPIP<\/strong>– Process Integration Pack
\nPLM<\/strong>– Project LifeCycle Management
\nOAS<\/strong> – Oracle Application Server
\nUDDI<\/strong>– Universal Description Discovery and Integration<\/p>\n

\nInstallation overview<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Install SOA Suite 10g
\n1.1<\/strong> Install Database 10.2.0.1 for SOA Suite
\n1.2 <\/strong>Upgrade database to minimum 10.2.0.2 patchset (or higher)
\n1.3 <\/strong>Load SOA schema in database (irca.sh)
\n1.4<\/strong> Install Oracle SOA Suite 10.1.3.1 software (Select Option J2EE, Web Server and SOA Suite)
\n1.5<\/strong> Upgrade SOA suite to 10.1.3.3 (patch 6148874<\/strong>) or higher<\/p>\n

2. Install Oracle Service Registry 10.3
\n2.1<\/strong> Create UDDI User in database
\n2.2<\/strong> Install OSR (Oracle Service Registry) “java -jar oracle-service-registry-10.3.jar<\/strong>” (Installation Type as Standalone Registry)
\n2.3 <\/strong>During OSR when prompted for Application Server Selection, You can use SOA suite installed above or install OSR in different Oracel AS Server or on WebLogic Server<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check any installation issue in $ORACLE_HOME\/log\/install.log<\/strong><\/p>\n

3. Install Agile PLM on OAS (skip this step if Agile is already installed)
\n3.1<\/strong> Install 10.1.3.1 version of Oracle Application Server (Select Option J2EE<\/strong> and Web Server<\/strong>)
\n3.2<\/strong> Install Agile PLM 9.2.2.4 by running setup_[os].bin<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. Install Oracle E-Business Suite 11i (skip this step if EBS\/11i is already installed)<\/strong><\/p>\n

5. Install AIA (Application Integration Architecture) with Agile PLM (Project Lifecycle Management) PIP <\/strong>(Process Integration Pack)
\n5.1<\/strong> Enable Directory browsing in Apache being used by Oracle SOA Suite (installed above under point 1)
\n5.2<\/strong> Start AIA installer and select product “Application INtegration Architecture 2.2.0.0<\/strong>”
\n5.3<\/strong> Under available component select product “AIA Foundation Pack<\/strong>” and “PLM Design to Release Process Integration Pack 2.2.0.0.0<\/strong>”
\n5.4 <\/strong>Enter SOA details (installed on section 1) when promted
\n5.5 <\/strong>Enter OSR details (installed on section 2) when promted
\n5.6 <\/strong>Enter EBS\/11i details (section 4) when promted
\n5.7 <\/strong>Enter Agile PLM details (section 3) when promted<\/p>\n
