Hi all,<\/p>\n

I was trying to start the OHS server using opmnctl and it threw the error shown below.<\/p>\n

Communication error with the OPMN server local port.
\nCheck the OPMN log files<\/p>\n

Also, opmn.log shows error as shown below.<\/p>\n

In fact, there are multiple OHS servers present on the machine and all servers seem to take same default port.<\/p>\n

So I traversed to the opmn location of both OHS servers and took the opmn.xml and compared it. It resulted that the port specified in the below tag are same.<\/p>\n

<port local=”6700″ remote=”6701″\/><\/p>\n

Hence, we need to change these for every OHS component as shown below.<\/p>\n

For 1st OHS server say:\u00a0 <port local=”6700″ remote=”6701″\/><\/p>\n

For 2nd OHS server say: <port local=”6704″ remote=”6705″\/><\/p>\n

It should work fine now while starting OHS.<\/p>\n
