If you are planning to deploy custom WebCenter <\/strong>application in Fusion Middleware then Oracle’s recommendation is NOT <\/strong>to use any three pre-configured Managed Servers (WLS_Portlet<\/strong>, WLS_Spaces<\/strong>, WLS_Services<\/strong>)\u00a0or Admin Server<\/strong> but to create new managed server and deploy your custom\u00a0webcenter application in that managed server, \u00a0more information here<\/a><\/p>\n

If you deploy your custom webcenter application on managed server (created after WebCenter installation) you could run into issues while deploying your custom webcenter application.<\/p>\n

Managed Server weblogic.management.DeploymentException : [J2EE:160149] Error while processing library references. Unresolved application library references<\/strong>, defined in weblogic-application.xml : Extension-Name: oracle.webcenter.framework<\/strong>, Specification-Version : 11.1.1<\/font><\/p>\n

Root Cause<\/strong>: Required library file (in this case oracle.webcenter.framework) is missing from managed server on which you are deploying custom webcenter application<\/font><\/p>\n

Fix <\/strong>: Go to WebLogic Server console -> Deployments<\/strong> -> [Click on\u00a0library file causing issue] -> Select tab Targets<\/strong> -> Select Managed Server<\/strong>(on which you are deploying webcenter application) and click save<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n

Note*<\/font> – You could\u00a0also use WLST<\/strong>(WebLogic Scripting Tool) orFusion Middleware Control<\/strong> (\/em) to target missing library<\/strong>\u00a0to managed server.\u00a0<\/p>\n
