Hi today I faced some issue while restart the OAS HTTP_Server. Everything started fine except HTTP_Server.<\/font><\/p>\n

Here, I would like to mention some steps to\u00a0fix this issue.<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

In my case I had seen the following error when I executed. \/opmnctl restartall<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/font><\/p>\n

Work Around:<\/strong><\/font><\/font><\/font>\u00a0<\/font>We can find the error reason by using this log files.\u00a0 <\/font><\/font><\/font>\u00a0<\/font>The Three logs are as follows:<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

1.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oracle_home\/opmn\/logs\/opmn.log.<\/font><\/p>\n

2.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oracle_home\/opmn\/logs\/HTTP_Server~1.<\/font><\/p>\n

3.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Oracle_home\/Apache\/Apache\/logs\/error_log. (Open the latest one).<\/font><\/p>\n

In my case there is error information in HTTP_Server~1 is as follow<\/font><\/p>\n

This error will deceive us in hunting my workaround. <\/a><\/font><\/p>\n

After I look into apache log file here I got a clue of the error. The error is <\/font><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/font>Address already in use: make_sock: could not bind to address 127.0.0.1 port 7011<\/font><\/font>\u00a0<\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

<\/a><\/p>\n

Reason: <\/strong>The HTTP process running already on this port.<\/font><\/font><\/font><\/p>\n

Solution:<\/font><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Execute this command : ps -ef | grep httpd.<\/font><\/p>\n

2.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Kill all the process.<\/font><\/p>\n

3.<\/font>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Start the http server as opmnctl startproc process-type=HTTP_Server.<\/font><\/p>\n
