It has been a while posting here and finally back with a good one.<\/p>\n

The environment has got following components:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Oracle Identity manager (OIM)<\/li>\n
  2. Oracle Single Sign-On (OSSO)<\/li>\n
  3. Oracle E-Business Suite 12.x (EBS)<\/li>\n
  4. Oracle Internet Directory (OID)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    \u00a0Integrations involved:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Oracle E-Business Suite integrated with Oracle Single Sign-On.<\/li>\n
    2. Oracle Identity manager integrated with E-Business Suite using a connector.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Issue: <\/strong><\/p>\n

      Suppose an user already exists in OID and Oracle Identity Manager tries to provision that user into E-Business Suite. The integration between OIM and EBS creates the user in EBS. Since the EBS is also integrated with OID (with OSSO), it will also create the user in OID. On the whole, it was mandatory not to have the user in OID before provisioning to EBS application in my scenario.<\/p>\n

      Desired Scenario:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      Even if the user exists in OID, provisioning to EBS should not have an issue.<\/p>\n

      Error:<\/strong><\/p>\n

      We were getting the below error while provisioning the user to EBS when the user is already existing in OID.<\/p>\n

      Unabled to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.create_user due to the following reason:
      \nORA-20001: Unabled to call fnd_ldap_wrapper.create_user due to the following reason:
      \nA user with the given username already exists. Please choose a different username….

      We found the profile options set in EBS environment as shown below.<\/p>\n

      Applications SSO Type:\u00a0 SSWA w\/SSO<\/strong>
      \nApplications SSO Auto Link User:\u00a0 Blank <\/strong>
      \nApplications SSO Login Types:\u00a0 Both<\/strong>
      \nApplication SSO LDAP Synchronization:\u00a0Enabled<\/strong>
      \nApplications SSO Enable OID Identity Add Event:\u00a0Disabled<\/strong>
      \nLink Applications user with OID user with same username:\u00a0Blank<\/strong>We changed the profile options as shown below.<\/p>\n

      Applications SSO Type:\u00a0SSWAw\/SSO
      \nApplications SSO Auto Link User:\u00a0Enable
      \nApplications SSO Login Types:\u00a0Both
      \nApplication SSO LDAP Synchronization:\u00a0Enable

      The above options are desired before doing the integration between OSSO (OID)\u00a0 and EBS.<\/p>\n
