Both are cluster. As per requirement we create a new configset (refer this<a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2011\/05\/03\/creating-a-new-oidldap-configset\/\" title=\"create a new configset\"> link<\/a>) and I export the new configset in both nodes in production machines. Later I tried to bounces the services in both nodes, all services came smoothly but OC4J not came up.<\/p>\n<p>After long investigation I came to know that SSL port is not enabled in new configset1.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Below action plan helps to resolve this issue:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Verify ldapbind in both nodes.<\/p>\n<p>Node 1: oracle_home\/bin&gt;.\/ldapbind -h hostname -p 389<\/p>\n<p>Node 2: oracle_home\/bin&gt;.\/ldapbind -h hostname -p 389<\/p>\n<p>Result: bind successful. So I confirmed OID is working fine.<\/p>\n<p>2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Please create the following LDIF file called &#8216;modify.ldif&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-start modify.ldif &#8211; NOTE: do not include this line&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>dn: cn=configset1, cn=osdldapd, cn=subconfigsubentry<\/p>\n<p>changetype: modify<\/p>\n<p>replace: orclsslenable<\/p>\n<p>orclsslenable: 2<\/p>\n<p>&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;-end modify.ldif &#8211; NOTE: do not include this line&#8212;&#8212;&#8212;<\/p>\n<p>3.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Implement this change with this command:<\/p>\n<p>Oracle_home\/bin&gt;.\/ldapmodify -h &lt;oid_hostname&gt; -p &lt;oid_port&gt; -D &#8220;cn=orcladmin&#8221; -w &lt;password&gt; -v -f modify.ldif<\/p>\n<p>4.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Restart OID with the command:<\/p>\n<p>$ORACLE_HOME\/opmn\/bin\/opmnctl stopproc process-type=OID<\/p>\n<p>then restart with the command:<\/p>\n<p>$ORACLE_HOME\/opmn\/bin\/opmnctl startproc process-type=OID<\/p>\n<p>5.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Now the processes should start with this command:<\/p>\n<p>$ORACLE_HOME\/opmn\/bin\/opmnctl startall<\/p>\n<p>6.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Repeat step 3 and 4 ONLY on Node 2.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi all, this post regarding OC4J issue while bounce the services after export the new configset in production machines.
