Oracle WebCenter<\/strong>11g is user interaction product that helps to create social applications, enterprise portals, collaborative communities and internet\/intranet websites.<\/p>\n

Oracle Access Manager<\/strong> 11g is Oracle’s recommended Single Sign-On <\/strong>solution for Fusion Middleware (SOA, WebCenter, OBIEE, UCM..) and Fusion Applications.<\/p>\n

This post covers high level overview and documents related to WebCenter 11g integration with OAM 11g for Single Sign-On.
\n<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

By default when you install WebCenter you get WebLogic domain with one Admin Server<\/strong> few Managed Servers<\/strong>(Spaces, Portlet, Services).\u00a0If you are new to WebLogic then\u00a0check my\u00a0post on Domain, Admin & Managed server here<\/a><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 For Single Sign-On integration, you deploy OHS (Oracle HTTP Server) infront of WebLogic Server (check steps to configure OHS in front of WebLogic here<\/a>), configure WebGate plug-in<\/strong> with OHS check here<\/a>\u00a0and migrate\u00a0from WebLogic’s embedded LDAP store to\u00a0Oracle Internet Directory check here<\/a>\u00a0. You\u00a0must also use OID as primary identity<\/strong> store of OAM 11g steps here<\/a>\u00a0and unprotect some of WebCenter URLs\u00a0in OAM Console (details to follow in my coming posts<\/font>).<\/p>\n

Key Points for OAM 11g integration with WebCenter 11g<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1. <\/strong>WebCenter 11g R1 PS3 and higher (11.1.1.4+)\u00a0are certified with OAM 11g R1 (11.1.1.3)<\/p>\n

2. <\/strong>When you configure OHS in front of WebLogic then configure following URI’s
\na) \/webcenter , \/rss, \/workflow, integration, \/soa-infra, and \/rest pointing to weblogic Managed Server –\u00a0Spaces (port 8888)
\nb) \/owc_wiki, owc_discussions pointing to weblogic Managed Server – Discussions (8890)<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Configure system property oracle.webcenter.spaces.osso <\/strong>&owc_discussions.sso.mode <\/strong>\u00a0to true<\/strong><\/p>\n

4. <\/strong>Unprotect following URI from OAM Console (or during WebGate Registration) \u00a0\/webcenter\/…\/* , \u00a0\/webcenterhelp, \u00a0\/webcenterhelp\/…\/*,\u00a0 \/owc_discussions, \/owc_discussions\/…\/*,
\n\/rss, \/rss\/…\/*, \/workflow, \/workflow\/…\/*, \/integration\/services,
\n\/integration\/services\/…\/*, \u00a0\/soa-infra,\u00a0 \/soa-infra\/…\/*,\u00a0
\n\/rest\/api\/cmis\/…\/*,\u00a0\/cs,\u00a0 \/cs\/…\/*<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong>\u00a0Grant WebCenter Spaces Administrator role to OID user using grantAppRole<\/strong> or Fusion Middleware Control (\/em)<\/p>\n

High Level Steps to configure OAM 11g with WebCenter 11g for Single Sign-On<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Install OAM 11g (11.1.1.3)<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Install OID 11g (11.1.1.4 or 11.1.1.5)<\/p>\n

3<\/strong>. Change OAM’s primary identity store to OID<\/p>\n

4<\/strong>. Install OHS 11g (11.1.1.4 or 11.1.1.5)<\/p>\n

5<\/strong>. Configure OID as Authentication Provider in\u00a0WebLogic (where WebCenter is running)<\/p>\n

6<\/strong>. Configure OHS in from of WebLogic (where WebCenter is running)<\/p>\n

7<\/strong>. Configure an Instance of Webgate in OAM using RREG or OAM Console<\/p>\n

8<\/strong>. Install Webgate with OHS<\/p>\n

9<\/strong>. Run configuration steps on WebCenter (changing system properties and other things as mentioned above)<\/p>\n
