from&lt;server&gt;Internet Explorere was not able to open this Internet Site.The requested site is either unavailable or cannot be found.Please try again later<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u201d<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Works Fine for browsers like firefox ,chrome etc\u00a0 <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">\u00a0In order for Internet Explorer to open documents in Office (or any out-of-process, ActiveX document server), Internet Explorer must save the file to the local cache directory and ask the associated application (MS Word \/ MS Excel) to load the file.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">On tracing the HTTP headers response, It was found that below cache directives were being set:-<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">HTTP\/1.1 200 OK<br \/>\nServer: Oracle-Application-Server-11g<br \/>\n<\/font><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span style=\"color: red\">Cache-Control: no-cache<br \/>\nPragma: no-cache<\/span><br \/>\nAccept-Ranges: bytes<br \/>\nContent-Length: 27648<br \/>\nX-ORACLE-DMS-ECID: 004hS^Twn_k5qYD_z9DCiW00015y000FKA<br \/>\nX-Powered-By: Servlet\/2.5 JSP\/2.1<br \/>\nKeep-Alive: timeout=5, max=100<br \/>\nConnection: Keep-Alive<br \/>\nContent-Type: application\/ms-excel<br \/>\nContent-Language: en <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Due to the no-cache directives in the HTTP response header, the file is never stored to disk and the operation fails \/ file cannot be opened. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Next step was to cross check the issue on environment which was not SSO and the files were opening fine ,which clears that these cache directives were being set during SSO phase. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">On checking the $DOMAIN_HOME\/config\/fmwconfig\/oam-config.xml on oam server for the agent (webgate) registered for this UCM application, It was found below directives were set as:- <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&lt;\/Setting&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>&lt;Setting Name=&#8221;testucm_Agent&#8221; Type=&#8221;htf:map&#8221;&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&lt;Setting Name=&#8221;<span style=\"color: red\">cacheControlHeader<\/span>&#8221; Type=&#8221;xsd:string&#8221;&gt;<span style=\"color: red\">no-cache<\/span>&lt;\/Setting&gt; <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">This clears, the issue is caused by the cache settings in Oracle Access Manager (OAM) WebGate.<br \/>\nBy default, when you provision a webgate agent in OAM, the CachePragmaHeader and CacheControlHeader<span>\u00a0 <\/span>are set to &#8220;no-cache&#8221;.<br \/>\nThis prevents WebGate from caching data at the Web server application and the user&#8217;s browser.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Solution is to re-register the webgate agent using rreg tool and modify input request file to modify these cache attributes to \u201cPublic\u201d or \u201cPrivate\u201d depending upon requirement.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">For more details on which cache value to set ,please check this <strong><u><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/Protocols\/rfc2616\/rfc2616-sec14.html\">LINK section 14.9<\/a><\/u><\/strong><\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><strong><u><span lang=\"EN-US\">Steps:<\/span><\/u><\/strong><span lang=\"EN-US\">&#8211;<\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">1)Shutdown OHS instance on which the webgate is running.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">2) Backup existing<span>\u00a0 <\/span>ObAccessClient.xml and Cwallet.sso under $OHS_INSTANCE\/config\/OHS\/ohs1\/webgate\/config <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">3) Backup existing $OAM_DOMAIN_HOME\/config\/fmwconfig\/oam-config.xml<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">4) De-register the Agent from OAM by login to OAM Administration Console<span>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>( default &#8211;http:\/\/server:&lt;admin_port&gt;\/oamconsole) and navigate to System Configuration tab\u00a0 <\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&#8211;&gt; <\/font><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Agents<\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&#8211;&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"> OAM Agents <\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\" lang=\"EN-US\"><span>&#8211;&gt;<\/span><\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">11g Webgates<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\" lang=\"EN-US\">\u00b7<\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span>\u00a0 <\/span>Click the desired agent&#8217;s name (example &#8211; testucm_Agent ), click the Delete button in the tool bar, and confirm the removal in the Confirmation window.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span>\u00a0 <\/span>Confirm the Agent name is no longer listed in the navigation tree.<\/font><\/p>\n<p><font face=\"Times New Roman\">5)Navigate to Policy Configuration tab<\/font><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\"><span><font face=\"Times New Roman\"> &#8211;&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/span><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Shared Components <\/font><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\"><span><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&#8211;&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/span><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Application Domains<\/font><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\"><span> &#8211;&gt;<\/span><\/span><font face=\"Times New Roman\"> testucm_Agent<\/font><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Symbol\">\u00b7<\/span><span><font face=\"Times New Roman\"> Under Authentication Policies <\/font><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Wingdings\"><span>&#8211;&gt; And Click Apply<\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">7) <\/span><span lang=\"EN-US\">Restart OAM Managed servers .Ensure servers status \u201cRunning\u201d before proceeding. <\/span><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">\u00a0<span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Login to OAM server box and provision agent again by modifying the input request file as shown below:-<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">cd $ORACLE_HOME\/oam\/server\/rreg\/input<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">vi testucm.xml <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Note:- This request xml file specific to agent will pre-exist from your earlier agent provisioning<span>\u00a0 <\/span>,you just need to modify the existing one. <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Add below 2 parameters :-<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">&lt;cachePragmaHeader&gt;<span style=\"color: red\">public<\/span>&lt;\/cachePragmaHeader&gt;<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\"><span>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/span>&lt;cacheControlHeader&gt;<span style=\"color: red\">public&lt;\/<\/span>cacheControlHeader&gt; <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">NOTE- Ensure all protected and public resources are listed for proper functioning of UCM integration<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: auto 0cm\" class=\"MsoBodyText\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">9) Run RReg tool <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">cd $ORACLE_HOME\/oam\/server\/rreg\/bin<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">.\/oamreg.sh inband input\/testucm.xml <\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0pt\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-US\"><font face=\"Times New Roman\">Once registered successfully, login to oamconsole and verify agent and agent application domain creation.
