This post covers high level steps to integrate Oracle Apps <\/strong>(E-Business Suite) R12 with Oracle WebCenter<\/strong> 11g R1 including Oracle Access Manager <\/strong>(SSO solution) and Oracle Internet Directory<\/strong> (LDAP Server)<\/p>\n

EBS Suite integration with WebCenter is very well explained in My Oracle Support Note 1074345.1<\/strong>, here are high level steps from this note<\/p>\n

1. <\/strong>Install WebCenter 11.1.1.5
\n2.<\/strong> Install OID\/OAM 11.1.1.5
\n3.<\/strong> Integrate OAM with OID
\n4.<\/strong> Integrate EBS R12 with OID\/OAM for SSO
\n5.<\/strong> Integrate WebCenter with OID\/OAM for SSO
\n6.<\/strong> Integrate EBS R12 with WebCenter
\n7.<\/strong> Test EBS, OID, OAM, and WebCenter Integration<\/p>\n

1. Install WebCenter 11.1.1.5<\/strong><\/p>\n

1.1<\/strong> Install Database for WebCenter<\/p>\n

1.2<\/strong> Create schema for webcenter<\/strong> using Repository Creation Utility<\/strong> (RCU). More on RCU here<\/a><\/p>\n

1.3<\/strong> Install JDK (for 64 bit OS and IBM & HP-UX machines only)<\/p>\n

1.4 <\/strong>Install WebLogic Server 10.3.5, more on WebLogic installation\u00a0here<\/a> and for 64bit WebLogic installation\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

1.5<\/strong> Install WebCenter Suite 11.1.1.5 software (You must install webcenter under MiddleWare Home – MW_HOME<\/strong> created after installing WebLogic Server in previos step). More on MW_HOME<\/strong>, WL_HOME<\/strong>, ORACLE_HOME<\/strong>\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

1.6<\/strong> Configure WebLogic Domain ($MW_HOME\/ oracle_common\/ common\/ bin\/config.sh<\/strong> ) and create WebCenter Managed Servers<\/strong>. More on WebLogic Domain, Admin and Managed Server\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

1.7<\/strong> Test WebCenter URLs<\/p>\n

2. Install OID\/OAM 11.1.1.5\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

You can check our eBook for step by step installation of OAM 11.1.1.5 , OID 11.1.1.5 and integration with Oracle Apps R12<\/a><\/p>\n

2.1<\/strong> Install Database for OID\/OAM (You can also use database created for WebCenter<\/font>)<\/p>\n

2.2<\/strong> Create schema for OID\/OAM using Repository Creation Utility (RCU)\n2.3<\/strong> Install JDK (for 64 bit OS and IBM & HP-UX machines only) <\/strong>2.4<\/strong> Install WebLogic Server 10.3.5<\/p>\n

Note<\/strong>: If OID\/OAM\/WebCenter are 11.1.1.5 then you can use single Middleware Home and WebLogic Home for all three products i.e. OID, OAM & OIM<\/font><\/p>\n

2.5<\/strong> Install OID Suite 11.1.1.2 (This is base software and OID 11.1.1.5 is patchset only<\/font>)<\/p>\n

2.6<\/strong> Install OID Suite 11.1.1.5 (OID 11.1.1.5 is patch set only and must be installed on top of 11.1.1.2<\/font>)<\/p>\n

2.7<\/strong> Install OAM Suite 11.1.1.5<\/p>\n

2.8<\/strong> Configure OID by running config.sh<\/strong> from OID ORACLE_HOME\/bin (include DIP and ODSM): DIP is used in OID to EBS Integration\u00a0<\/font><\/p>\n

2.9<\/strong> Configure Oracle Access Manager by running config.sh<\/strong> from $MW_HOME\/ oracle_common\/ common\/ bin<\/p>\n

3. Integrate OAM with OID<\/strong> : OAM by default uses WebLogic’s embedded LDAP server. This step will configure OAM to use OID as identity Store. More on integration of OAM 11g R1 with OID\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

4. Integrate EBS with OID\/OAM
\n<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.1<\/strong> Register EBS with OID<\/p>\n

4.2<\/strong> Install EBS AccessGate on WebLogic Server<\/p>\n

4.3<\/strong> Install OHS Server and configure mod_wl_ohs<\/strong> to forward requests to WebLogic server on which EBS acccessGate<\/strong> is deployed (more on mod_wl_ohs <\/strong>here<\/a>)<\/p>\n

4.4<\/strong> Configure WebGate instance for webgate on OHS either by RREG or OAMConsole.<\/p>\n

4.5<\/strong> Install WebGate on OHS server.\u00a0More on RREG and installing WebGate here<\/a><\/p>\n

4.6<\/strong> Set EBS Profile options <\/strong>to enable SSO<\/p>\n

4.7<\/strong> Test EBS-OAM\/OID integration<\/p>\n

5. Integrate WebCenter with OID\/OAM<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.1<\/strong> Install OHS Server 11.1.1.2 for WebCenter (11.1.1.2 is base OHS software and 11.1.13\/4\/5 are patchset<\/font>)<\/p>\n

5.2<\/strong> Apply OHS 11.1.1.5 patchset (11.1.1.5 is latest patchiest as of Feb 2012<\/font>)<\/p>\n

5.3<\/strong> Configure \u00a0mod_wl_ohs<\/a>\u00a0to forward request to WebCenter Managed Servers<\/p>\n

5.4<\/strong> Configure OID as Authentication Provider<\/strong> in WewbCenter’s weblogic security realm. More on OID as authentication provider in WebLogic\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

5.5<\/strong> Configure an Instance of webgate for webcenter OHS in OAM (use RREG <\/strong>or\u00a0OAMconsole<\/strong>) – Create protected & public resource either using RREG (during agent registration) or manually later<\/p>\n

5.6<\/strong> Install WebGate<\/strong> with webcenter OHS server.\u00a0More on RREG and installing WebGate here<\/a><\/p>\n

5.7<\/strong> Configure OAM Identity Asserter <\/strong>as Authentication Provider in WewbCenter’s Weblogic Security realm<\/p>\n

5.8<\/strong> Change login properties of WebCenter using WLST –\u00a0addOAMSSOProvider<\/strong><\/p>\n

5.9<\/strong> Configure WebCenter to use SSO by adding java property
\n-Doracle.webcenter.spaces.osso<\/strong>=true<\/p>\n

6. Integrate WebCenter with EBS<\/strong><\/p>\n

6.1<\/strong> Allow webcenter host to access \/OA_HTML\/portlet\/* by adding IP address\/Hostname of webcenter machine in s_trusted_portals<\/p>\n

6.2<\/strong> Run Autoconfig in EBS<\/p>\n

6.3<\/strong> Register EBS producer with Oracle WebCenter either using WLST (registerWSRPProducer<\/strong>) or FMW enterprise manager \/em<\/p>\n

6.4<\/strong> Add EBS Portlet to webcenter page<\/p>\n

6.5<\/strong> Turn off public access to webcenter spaces page using webcenter administration screen<\/p>\n

6.6 <\/strong>Optionally set WebCenter Spaces as EBS Homepage by setting profile option Application SSO Type<\/strong> and Application Portal<\/strong><\/p>\n

7. Test EBS\/WebCenter integration<\/strong><\/p>\n

7.1<\/strong> Try accessing EBS URL<\/p>\n

7.2<\/strong> EBS should redirect to EBS AccessGate login page \/ebsauth_<\/sid>\/OAMLogin.jsp (where ebsauth_<\/sid> is context used during EBS-AG deployment)<\/p>\n

<\/sid><\/sid>7.3<\/strong> After login<\/p>\n

<\/sid><\/sid>a)<\/strong> If profile options Application SSO Type<\/strong> is set to Portal w\/SSO<\/strong> and Application Portal <\/strong>is set to Webcenter Spaces <\/strong>page then user should land on webcenter spaces page (without logon prompt to webcenter space<\/font>)<\/p>\n

<\/sid><\/sid>b)<\/strong> If above two profile option values are NOT<\/strong> set then after logon to EBS, on same browser session try access WebCenter spaces URL. User should be able to logon without<\/strong> second password prompt.<\/p>\n

<\/sid><\/sid>7.4<\/strong> From WebCenter spaces access page containing EBS portlet, you should be able to see EBS Portlets without password prompt.<\/p>\n
