Oracle Internet Directory (OID<\/strong>) consists of Repository\u00a0(LDAP objects stored in Oracle Database under schema ODS<\/span>) and OID Software (created during OID installation). This post covers steps to find OID version and patches <\/strong>applied to OID ORACLE_HOME\u00a0.<\/p>\n

For steps on how to find version of WebLogic<\/strong> click\u00a0here<\/a> , E-Business Suite <\/strong>version click here<\/a>\u00a0, and for\u00a0WebGate<\/strong> version click\u00a0here<\/a><\/p>\n

OID version\u00a0from\u00a0LDAP\u00a0Entry ?<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

$ORACLE_HOME\/bin\/ldapsearch -h <oid_host> -p <oid_port> -D cn=orcladmin -q -s base -b “” objectclass=* orcldirectoryversion orclcompatibleversion
\n<\/span>
\nYou should see output like<\/p>\n

orcldirectoryversion=OID 11.1.1.5.0<\/p>\n

where 11.1.1.5.0 represents OID version 11.1.1.5<\/p>\n

Note: For OID 11.1.1.6 or higher version user value for attribute orclcompatibleversion<\/strong>\u00a0as OID version.<\/span><\/p>\n

OID version from OID Executable <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n

$ORACLE_HOME\/bin\/oidldapd -version<\/span><\/p>\n

You should see output like

where ORACLE_HOME is directory in which OID\u00a0software is\u00a0installed<\/p>\n

output like below represents that OID software is 11.1.1.5.0 with 13 patches<\/p>\n
