Check <strong>Brian Eidelman&#8217;s<\/strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fusionsecurity.blogspot.co.uk\/2012\/01\/fusion-security-apps-edition.html\">post<\/a>\u00a0Identity Management components used in Fusion Applications.<\/div>\n<div>\u00a0<\/div>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Pre-requisite for Fusion Applications is to install, configure and integrate <strong>OID\/OIM\/OAM<\/strong>. When you integrate OIM\/OAM using <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2011\/11\/23\/idmconfigtool-oimoamfusionapps-integration-preconfigidstore-prepareidstore-configoam-configoim\/\">idmConfigTool<\/a>, this tool creates <strong>properties file<\/strong> called <strong>idmDomainConfig.param<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> During Fusion Application Provisioning, you can use <strong>idmDomainConfig.param<\/strong>\u00a0which will populate most Identity &amp; Access Management screens automatically during Fusion Applications Installation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> For Identity Management Configuration screen (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">during Fusion Applications installation<\/span>), enter following :<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/fa_idm_config_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3136\" title=\"fa_idm_config_1\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/fa_idm_config_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"415\" height=\"458\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/fa_idm_config_1.png 415w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/fa_idm_config_1-271x300.png 271w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 415px) 100vw, 415px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>a) Super User Name<\/strong>: <strong>weblogic_fa<\/strong> (This is the user created during <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.oracle.com\/cd\/E25178_01\/fusionapps.1111\/e21032\/prep_is_ps.htm#CIHICICD\">idmConfigTool.sh -preConfigIDStore<\/a> more on idmConfigTool <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2011\/11\/23\/idmconfigtool-oimoamfusionapps-integration-preconfigidstore-prepareidstore-configoam-configoim\/\">here<\/a> \u00a0) : Make sure that you can see this user in both <strong>OID<\/strong> (via <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2009\/09\/30\/oid-11g-oracle-directory-services-manager-odsm\/\">ODSM<\/a> ) and <strong>OIM<\/strong> (<strong>manage user screen in OIM Administration Console<\/strong>). If User is missing in <strong>OIM<\/strong> then run <strong>Recon Jobs<\/strong> to bring users from OID to OIM (<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.oracle.com\/cd\/E25178_01\/fusionapps.1111\/e16600\/installapps.htm#sthref54\">LDAP User Create and Update Full Reconciliation<\/a>)<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: During FA provisioning this user will be granted <strong>Administrator<\/strong> and <strong>Functional Setup<\/strong> privileges. You should use this <strong>user to login to Fusion Apps<\/strong> after installation.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>weblogic_fa<\/strong> user in OID (via <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2009\/09\/30\/oid-11g-oracle-directory-services-manager-odsm\/\">ODSM<\/a> ) :<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3155\" title=\"weblogic_fa\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"579\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>weblogic_fa<\/strong> user in <strong>OIM<\/strong> (via OIM Administration console):<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa_oim.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3156\" title=\"weblogic_fa_oim\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa_oim.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"438\" height=\"531\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa_oim.png 438w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/04\/weblogic_fa_oim-247x300.png 247w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 438px) 100vw, 438px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>b)<\/strong> If you have already created groups in OID related to Administrator, Monitors, Operators role then you can <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">uncheck<\/span> box next to them. If these groups are <strong>not<\/strong> created in OID then <strong>select checkbox<\/strong> for <strong>Enable Seeding of Security Data<\/strong>, <strong>Create Administrators Group<\/strong>, <strong>Create Monitors Group<\/strong>, <strong>Create Operators Group<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>c)<\/strong> OID by default listens on <strong>SSL<\/strong> (3131) and <strong>non-SSL<\/strong> (3060) port for any LDAP request. If you want to Fusion Apps to connect to OID on LDAPS (SSL) then select checkbox <strong>Identity Store Enabled SSL<\/strong> (else do not select this checkbox).<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> I used connection to be non-ssl (LDAP)\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>d) Identity Store Server Type<\/strong> : Select from <strong>OVD<\/strong> or <strong>OID<\/strong>\u00a0as Identity Store. OVD is <strong>optional<\/strong> (use OVD if you have multiple Identity Stores), I used OID (no OVD) as Identity Store. For OVD use case and <strong>how to configure OVD for split profile<\/strong> is covered in Oracle Fusion Applications A-Team <a href=\"http:\/\/fusionapplications-ateam.blogspot.co.uk\/2012\/04\/split-profiles-with-ad-and-oid-for.html\">blog<\/a> \u00a0.<\/p>\n<p><strong>e) Identity Store User DN<\/strong> : cn=IDRWUser, cn=User,\u00a0<strong>dc=com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: Change <strong>dc=com<\/strong> to your OID Realm (set during OID configuration). To verify your OID realm, login to ODSM and search for user <strong>IDRWUser<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>f) Identity Store Password<\/strong> : Provide password set during this user creation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>g) Identity Store Read-On User DN<\/strong> : cn=IDROUser, cn=User, <strong>dc=com<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Note: Change\u00a0dc=com\u00a0to your OID Realm (set during OID configuration).
