This post will point you in a right direction for understanding installation starting point.<\/p>\n<p>To install Fusion middleware products except for Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer then refer the below screenshot for installation flow and follow my previous <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2012\/07\/11\/installation-and-configuration-of-oracle-identity-management-11-1-1-6\/\">post<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_full_install.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-3756\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_full_install.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"562\" height=\"66\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_full_install.gif 703w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_full_install-300x34.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 562px) 100vw, 562px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>To install Oracle Portal, Forms, Reports and Discoverer for the 1st time, then 11.1.1.6 is not the right installer. To do this, install 11.1.1.2 version first and then patch it to 11.1.1.6. Refer the below screenshot for installation flow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_patch_install.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-3757\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_patch_install.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"529\" height=\"163\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_patch_install.gif 529w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/new_user_patch_install-300x92.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/a>If you are on Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.x (where x stands for 2, 3, 4 and 5) then follow the below steps.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Update the schemas for products listed <a href=\"http:\/\/docs.oracle.com\/cd\/E23943_01\/doc.1111\/e16793\/patch_set_assistant.htm#PATCH678\">here<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Upgrade the WebLogic Server to 10.3.6.<\/li>\n<li>Patch the Oracle Identity Management 11.1.1.6 using 13516867.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Refer the below screenshot for installation flow.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/last.gif\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft  wp-image-3763\" https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/07\/last-300x33.gif 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 529px) 100vw, 529px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>If you are on Fusion Middleware 11.1.1.0 then follow the below steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Upgrade the WebLogic Server to 10.3.2.<\/li>\n<li>Install Oracle Identity Management 11.1.1.2.0 but select <strong>Install Software &#8211; Do Not Configure<\/strong> option during installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Refer the installation flow given below.<\/p>\n<p><a
