Topic 7\u00a0Bulk Load and Post Processing<\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>of certification 1Z1-459 contains following sub topics<\/p>\n

7.1<\/strong> Configure Bulk Load utility
\n7.2<\/strong> Configure post processing task for bulk load<\/p>\n

Bulk Load Utility<\/strong> in Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) provides facility to load users and roles in bulk quickly.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Using Bulk Load Utility in OIM, data can be loaded from CSV<\/strong> (comma separated value) file or from Database<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Bulk Load Utility can be used to load following data
\na)<\/strong> User Data<\/strong> that corresponds to Account Data in OIM
\nb)<\/strong> Account Data<\/strong> that corresponds to User Data in OIM
\nc)<\/strong> Role<\/strong>, Role Membership<\/strong>, Role Category<\/strong>, and Role Hierarchy<\/strong> Data in OIM<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Bulk Import related files are under $ORACLE_HOME\/ server\/ db\/ oim\/ oracle\/ Utilities\/ oimbulkload<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> Main script that constitute bulk load is oim_blkld.sh<\/strong> (Unix) \/ oim_blkld.bat<\/strong> (Windows)<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> Data loaded using bulk load from CSV file loaded in to temporary table<\/strong> (created by bulk load tool) under OIM schema.<\/p>\n

a)<\/strong> Bulk Load will create two tables<\/strong> for each CSV file , one with name OIM_BLKLD_TMP_[first_six_character_of_file]_[N]<\/strong> (containing correct data loaded in to temporary table<\/span>) and second with name OIM_BLKLD_EX_[first_six_character_of_file]_[N]<\/strong> (containing data that fails to load in OIM temporary table<\/span>)<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Statistics about Bulk Load utility run i.e. number of records processed, loaded and rejects are recorded in file $ORACLE_HOME\/ server\/ db\/ oim\/ oracle\/ Utilities\/ oimbulkload\/ logs_YYYYMMDD_hhmm\/\u00a0oim_blkld_user_load_summary.log<\/strong><\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> bulk load operation progress is also recorded in table OIM_BLKLD_LOG<\/strong><\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> You must stop OIM server while running Bulk Load Utility<\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> Bulk Load Post Process<\/strong> scheduled task starts post processing jobs for the Bulk Load Utility.<\/p>\n
