For <strong>overview of OEM Cloud Control 12c installation\u00a0<\/strong>click <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2011\/10\/13\/oracle-enterprise-manager-oem-12c-12101-cloud-em12c-overview-and-installation\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a> and <strong>to install OEM 12c cloud control using SIMPLE<\/strong>\u00a0(<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">You can use SIMPLE or ADVANCED mode to install<\/span>) click <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2012\/02\/08\/install-oracle-enterprise-manager-oem-12c-12101-em12c\/\"><strong>here<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Configure OEM 12c to monitor Oracle Identity Management (OID\/OVD) 11g\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>1.<\/strong> Install OEM 12c Server<\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Install OEM 12c Agent on all machines hosting Identity Management (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">If Identity Management is deployed on multiple servers, more <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2010\/11\/01\/oid-11g-oid-11g-distributed-install-dipodsm-java-component-oid-ldaprepld-on-different-machine\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">here<\/span><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/index.php\/2007\/12\/03\/step-by-step-install-oid-sso-in-high-availability\/\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">here<\/span><\/a>\u00a0then install OEM Agent on all machines<\/span>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>3.<\/strong> Verify that Host (where OID\/OVD is deployed) is available in OEM 12c Cloud Console. <strong>Targets<\/strong> -&gt;<strong> Hosts<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_config_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5737\" title=\"oem_idm_config_1\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_config_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"428\" height=\"330\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_config_1.png 428w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_config_1-300x231.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 428px) 100vw, 428px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Note: In my case OID\/OVD is running on host innowave21.focusthread\/OEM 12c Agent<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>4.<\/strong> Ensure that OEM 12c server can talk to WebLogic Admin Server (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Admin Server LISTEN port should be allowed to connect from OMS Server<\/span>) that is managing OID\/OVD (<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">FMW<\/span>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">EM running on WebLogic Admin Server manages OID\/OVD components<\/span>)<\/p>\n<p><strong>5.<\/strong> Add Middleware Target (WebLogic Server managing OID\/OVD where EM is running): <strong>Targets<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Middleware<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Add<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Oracle Fusion Middleware \/WebLogic Domain<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5739\" title=\"oem_idm_2\" src=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"344\" height=\"422\" srcset=\"https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_2.png 344w, https:\/\/onlineappsdba.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/07\/oem_idm_2-244x300.png 244w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 344px) 100vw, 344px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>6.<\/strong> \u00a0Provide Details of WebLogic Admin Server that is managing OID\/OVD and click Continue . From OEM 12c onwards, Service Up and Down events (OID\/OVD availability) are grouped in to<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.oracle.com\/cd\/E24628_01\/doc.121\/e24473\/incident_mgmt.htm#BABEDEHC\">Incidents<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and any action on incident is done via\u00a0<strong>Incident Rules<\/strong>. Configure your Account in OEM 12c to\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/docs.oracle.com\/cd\/E24628_01\/doc.121\/e24473\/notification.htm#CACJHDDD\">\u201cSubscribe to receive emails for Incident Rules\u201d<\/a>\u00a0\u00a0<strong>OEM CC<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Setup<\/strong> -&gt;<strong> Incidents<\/strong> -&gt; <strong>Incident Rules<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>13.<\/strong> You can also
