Oracle released 12.0.6<\/strong> on Nov 7, 2008. Here is quick snapshot of 12.0.6 for DBA’s<\/strong> & System Administrators<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

1.<\/strong> Patch Number for 12.0.6 is 6728000<\/strong><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong> Prereq. patch for 12.0.6 (6728000) is R12.AD.A.delta.6<\/strong> (7305220<\/strong>) & optional online help patch<\/strong> (7109200<\/strong>)<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> As with other ad patches, You CAN’T<\/strong> merge 12.0.6 (6728000) with R12.AD.A.delta.6 (7305220)<\/p>\n

4.<\/strong> You can apply 12.0.6 only on<\/strong> R12 instance i.e. 12.0.0, 12.0.1, 12.0.2, 12.0.3, 12.0.4 or FIN & HRMS RUP5<\/p>\n

5.<\/strong> If you are on 11i, first upgrade system to 12.0.4 and then apply 12.0.6<\/p>\n

6.<\/strong> Oct 2008 CPU<\/strong> for R12 is part of RUP6 i.e. 12.0.6 (6728000)<\/p>\n

7.<\/strong> To apply 12.0.6 patch (6728000<\/strong>), first apply prereq. patches,\u00a0 Source application environment file and run admsi.pl<\/strong> (Patch Application Assistant)<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> As part of Post 12.0.6<\/strong> (6728000) patch application<\/strong>
