\nKey Points Good to know with AIA Installation
\n<\/u>
\n1.<\/strong> Application Integration Architecture (AIA) Foundation pack runs on Oracle SOA Suite<\/strong>.
\n
\n2. <\/strong>Oracle SOA server <\/strong>runs either on Oracle Application Server (OAS)<\/font>\u00a010g R3<\/strong> or Oracle WebLogic Server 9.2<\/strong> (as of 12 Oct 08)<\/p>\n

3.<\/strong> Oracle SOA Server should be of version 10.1.3.3.X<\/strong> or higher (When using OAS)<\/p>\n

4. <\/strong>If you are planning to use Oracle Application Server (OAS) then use Oracle Service Registry<\/strong>. If you are planning to use Oracle WebLogic Server then use AquaLogic Service Registry<\/strong>.

\n5.<\/strong> Oracle Service Registry <\/strong>should be minimum 10.1.3.1 for SOA Suite on OAS 10gR3 (If you are planning to use WebLogic Server then install AquaLogic Service Registry 3.0<\/strong>)

\n6.<\/strong> You use Oracle Universal Installer<\/strong> (OUI) to install<\/strong> & uninstall<\/strong> AIA

\n7. <\/strong>Use separate<\/strong> directory for Apps Server<\/strong> (OAS or WebLogic) and AIA<\/strong> software.<\/p>\n

8.<\/strong> Upgrade JDK used with oracle SOA Suite (10.1.3.X) to JDK 5.0 update 11 <\/strong>(1.5.11) (Only if you are using SOA suite on Oracle Application Server<\/font>)<\/p>\n

9.<\/strong> For AIA repository<\/strong>, you can use same database as one for SOA suite or separate database.\u00a0<\/p>\n
