This is my first post on Oracle JRockit so I’ll start with documentation and software link . More on JRockit Mission Control and its components (Management Console, Run Time Analyzer - JRA and Memory Leak Detector) coming soon !!!

JRockit is Java Virtual Machine from BEA (now acquired by Oracle). Other JVM vendor’s are Sun JVM (from Sun), IBM JVM (from IBM)

Oracle Jrockit JVM : is JVM (Java Virtual Machine) from Oracle and mainly of two type
1) Mission Control
2) Real Time

.

When you install Oracle Fusion Middleware (of type SOA, WebCenter, IdM), installer will automatically install JRockit Mission Control in MW_HOME directory.

JRockit file structure
JRMC stands for JRockit Mission Control
JRRT stands for JRockit Real Time
