Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE) 11g R1 (11.1.1.3) for Windows & Linux is now available to download from here
- OBIEE 11g R1 is deployed on WebLogic Server 11g R1 (10.3.3)

High Level Steps to Install OBIEE 11g
- Install Database for OBIEE repository
- Create OBIEE schema (BIPLATFORM + Metadata Services) using Repository Creation Utility (RCU). More on RCU here
- Install OBIEE Server 11g
3.1 Option : Simple Install, Enterprise Install or Software Only Install
3.2 Configure Component : BI Enterprise Edition, BI Publisher, Real-Time Decision
Step 3 i.e. Install OBIEE Server will create MW_HOME (Middleware Home), WL_HOME (WebLogic Home), ORACLE_HOME (for BI Server), DOMAIN_HOME (runtime java component) and INTANCE_HOME (runtime system component) for more information various homes in Oracle Fusion Middleware here
