Migration is required when we need to move our work from one environment to another.
Below are the list of things to be considered while doing migration:
1) Environment setup
OES server and all the required SM are installed and configured in the new environment. If we have dependency on PIP then make sure this also migrated.
2) Migration of the groups and users referred in the policies.
Verify if all groups and policies referred in the principal of your policy are created in the new environment.
3) Migration of PIP
Edit the jps-config.xml file and add all the required PIP in each of your SM instances.
4) Migration of Policy
Login to OES apm console and check if all the policies are visible.
