Oracle has now changed Oracle Apps DBA Certification track. New version now includes three exams focused on Apps DBA role (against previous Workflow & Sysadmin)
- 1Z0-235 Apps DBA Fundamental I
- 1Z0-236 Apps DBA Fundamental II
- 1Z0-233 11i Install patch and Maintain Applications
- Online or Instructor led training for one of above exams (Waive off if you clear above three exam before 31, May 2007)

First two exams are same as 9i OCP so if you are 9i or 10g OCP , In order to clear Apps DBA Certification Track you just have to clear one exam i.e. 1Z0-233 11i Install patch and Maintain Applications

Yes, You have to pass all exams in order to clear certification but you can take these exams in any order .

I sent you in your E-mail 2 documents. One for Oracle 9i and the other for 10g. For me I pass only the new features because I was already 8i certified.
More than this documents I bought from testking the questions/Responses it cost about 60 Dollars each but really very Helpful.

Earlier Oracle mentioned waive off till 31 May but I don’t see it anymore so I assume you have to undergo atleast one training from Oracle University this can be before or after taking exam.

Is for upgrading 9i OCP to 10g OCP .
11i Apps DBA is different course/track and not upgarde from 9i/10g dba so you have to take one of course but you can verify this by sending mail to ocpreq_ww@oracle.com

There is no way to skip this, You should take atleast one classroom course from University . These courses are cheap in India or any other countries in east so try to look for costing in India or any aisan country

I often read this onlineapps blog & want to take the Apps DBA certification. If i do the Class training in India OR take it from you ie., online training, its valid..correct. Also can i do it at my own pace or is there a time limit to complete between each of these exams.
