Oracle on Feb 8, 2010 announced that it has agreed to acquire AmberPoint , SOA Management, Business Transaction Management and run-time Governance software.
Acquisition is expected to extend Oracle’s leadership in Fusion Middleware and provide customers with advanced capabilities in SOA Governance and SOA management. Amberpoint is among leaders in SOA Management mainly to enforce policies that improve security, and to diagnose transactions not only within composite application but also across different applications.
