Hi Atul,

I am trying to install OWSM standalone (Basic installation) on Windows 2003 standard edition. I have downloaded Oracle Web Services Manager 10g (10.1.3.1.0) from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/101310.html.
And after installation it is working perfectly.

After this I have downloaded OWSM patch 6148874 from http://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?patch_num=6148874.
I tried applying the patch (both running OC4J running with WSM application is stopped and OC4J is down). But after installation these changes takes place.

Before applying patch After applying patch
OC4J Port 3115 8888
WSM services on OC4J Installed Not installed

I have some doubts

I have to manually install the WSM services and how?
Patch installer never asks for oc4jadmin password?
Patch installer never prompt to shutdown?
There is no directory bpel through which I can update the database.

I can’t understand your question

Patch installer never asks for oc4jadmin password?
Your is standalone OWSM and steps mentioned above are fro SOA (Integrated BPEL, OWSM, ESB) suite

Patch installer never prompt to shutdown?
Your is standalone OWSM and steps mentioned above are fro SOA (Integrated BPEL, OWSM, ESB) suite

There is no directory bpel through which I can update the database
You don’t have to carry out this operation as this is for SOA with BPEL or standalone BPEL upgrade.

Before installing patch there were WSM application(ccore, coreman, gateway, policymanager) in OC4J’s application tab(Middleware Services).

But after applying patch WSM application is not there.

Siva,
Don’t you have BPEL directory in your ORACLE_HOME ?

If not that means you are not using soa in 10.1.3.1 and you can safely ignore upgrade_10131_10133_oracle.sql (This script is used only if you are using BPEL component in 10.1.3)

Hi atual,

i am facing

Local connection 127.0.0.1,6100 invalid form factor

can u please help me

This error is most often caused by a conflict with a Oracle Database or Oracle Application Server installation on the same computer. The above occurs due to entries in the oraInventory directory of an existing or previous installation of Oracle Database or Oracle Application Server.

To fix this issue

Change the request port for the opmn.xml file to a value greater than the 6100. For example:

Change line

to

and restart opmn ; opmnctl stopall and opmnctl startall

Elsie, you cannot download version 10.1.3.3.0 from Oracle, this version is 10.1.3.1 + PatchSet #3 (6148874).
