Reply[…] WebGate is Policy Enforcement Point (PEP) which protect resources protected by OAM. This WebGate can be further secured by setting password for this WebGate Instance. […]
ReplyWe have a client that is using RHEL6 and Apache22 as their HTTP server. We need to add webgates for their SSO connection but the last I heard… if we were using Apache of any kind — we could not use 11g webgates. And that only OHS was allowed for use with 11g webgates.
In trying to the execute “Oracle_Access_Manager10_1_4_3_0_linux64_APACHE22_WebGate -is:log tmp.log” command we get the following — but nothing happens after this. It seems top get about half way through the prep and dies.

The logfile created contains:
file name: setup.jar
ERROR: Invalid bundled JVM. Missing ‘jvm’ file.
Is there a RHEL6/Apache22 webgate file other than the one listed in your “Download 10g WebGate software from here” link? We have an SR into Oracle but they are not able to answer with any precision.

Latest verison (as of April 2013) of WebGate for Apche is 10g (10.1.4.3)
For your issue , check if there is enough disk space in /tmp and also check if WebGate is certified with RHEL6
ReplyHi all
I got the same problem.
I have :
OEL6 64bit, Apache 2.2, OAM 11.1.2.1.0
I already checked the certification matrix and it is clearly stated:
——————————
-Oracle Access Manager (OAM) 10.1.4.3.0 Bundle Patch 10+
-Apache.org Apache 2.2.x, Apache RP 64
-Oracle Enterprise Linux 6.x 64 x86-64 NPTL enabled
—————————–
Also, I have 2G free disk space.
Anyone can help on this?
thanks.
