OIM 11g configuration error

My environment has:

WebLogic Server 10.3.6

SOA Suite 11.1.1.6

RCU 11.1.1.6

I have installed Oracle IAM Suite 11.1.1.5 and created weblogic domain for OIM. I was trying to configure OIM server by running config.sh located at $IAM_HOME/bin and it resulted in error shown in below screenshot.

The following exception is seen in install log at inventory location.

I found out a metalink note talking about same exception and understood that Oracle IAM suite needs to be upgraded to 11.1.1.5.2 by applying patch 13399365. After applying the patch the OIM configuration went smooth. Refer this post for patching OIM to 11.1.1.5.2

Hi! It is nice to see your blog.

As mentioned by you I have applied patch 13399365.

However my OIM config is still failing with error File not Found. I have copied a part of the log file as below. Kindly is it possible to have a conference call with you?

I have been getting a lot of guidance from your blogs. Thank you so much.

I am currently trying to install Fusion Apps 11.1.4 on windows 64bit.
I have followed Oracle’s Enterprise deployment guide for the installation.
I have used,
WLS 10.3.6
RCU 11.1.1.6
SOA 11.1.1.6
IAM 11.1.1.5

I created the IDMDomain as suggested. However my OIM does not start. Also I have upgraded to 11.1.1.5.2. Still my OIM configuration fails. Kindly could you look at it.

@SK,

I did not get the FileNotFound exception as in your case. Was the patch succesful? Can you check if the patch is really applied using opatch lsinventory command?

Hi!

I have checked and patch is listed in the opatch lsinventory.

Besides I am getting the following errors on other patches:-

patch 13115859
and ran domainAutomation.bat as mentioned in post install steps. It copies the three files and then fails saying file cannot be found. What could be the problem.
patch 13901417
same error for
no change in these file
1. MAPSTORE_COHERENCE_JAR=%ORACLE_HOME%\oam\server\lib\jmx\mapstore-coherence.jar
2. CONFIG_JAR=%ORACLE_HOME%\oam\server\lib\jmx\config.jar
3. REQRES_SCHEMA=%ORACLE_HOME%\oam\server\config\RequestResponseXMLSchema.xsd

patch 13901417
connect(‘weblogic,’Weblogic#1′,’seemak.edge.com:1521’)
importPolicyDelta(pathTempOAMPolicyFile=”E:\c1apps\oracle\product\fmw\iam\oam\def_import_policies\oam-basic-scheme-policy.xml”)
ERROR MESSAGE:

patch 13768278
Recommended actions: This patch requires some components to be installed in the
home. Either the Oracle Home doesn’t have the components or this patch is not su
itable for this Oracle Home.

Hi!

Did you first create a domain for OIM and SOA and then apply the bundle patch or you first applied the patch and then extended the domain with OIM and SOA.

I have created the domain first for SOA and OIM and then applied the patch.

Are you able to start OIM server as soon as you create the domain.

My OIM fails with ADMIN status.
