✅ The database and analytics workloads may be moved to AWS fast, securely, with little to no downtime, and with no data loss using the AWS Database Migration Service (AWS DMS), a managed migration and replication service.

✅ When SCT is chosen instead of the built-in DMS Schema Conversion feature, DMS and SCT work together to enable ongoing replication for a variety of purposes, such as populating data lakes and warehouses, synchronising systems, etc.

✅ A Direct Connect gateway is a tool that is accessible anywhere. Any Region can host the Direct Connect gateway, and any Region can access it. Direct Connect can be configured to allow you to bypass a parent Availability Zone and connect to the internet or Direct Connect points-of-presence instead.

✅ You can extend AWS processing and storage capabilities to your edge environments with the help of the AWS Snowball service, which also lets you transfer data into and out of AWS. These tough devices are also known as AWS Snowball Edge devices or AWS Snowball devices.
