Getting login page after authentication
Hi all, I would like to share issue what I had faced today.
It’s a production machine, we have done SSO configuration for target machine long days back and it’s worked fine. Suddenly target application team said, they unable to access their application through SSO and they getting login again after submit the credential.
Unable to understand the problem because application team did not make any changes and OAM side no changes have been made recently.
We have reproduced the problem, and I came to know that ObSSOCookie get logged out once it reaches web gate.
Workaround here:
1. Confirm standalone application is working or not (Disable the SSO policy and test). Result – Working.
2. Confirm web gate is working or not (protect some html page and test). Result –Not working.
3. Here we got some clue about the issue.
4. Re-configure the web gate and tested the same behavior but we couldn’t see the good result.
5. After further research, come to know that issue in time sync.
Problem: Time is not in sync between OAM server and Target application server where the web gate installed. Time difference is more than one hour and unable to understand how it got changed.
Solution: We made the time sync between the servers.
Note: Time always needs to be sync otherwise web gate will reject the request.
After this, the problem gets disappeared. I hope this will help you.
