📌 𝐎𝐛𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 is often used synonymously with monitoring, but monitoring is only one of the subcategories of cloud-native observability and does not do justice to its scope. Observability and monitoring are complementary, with each having a distinct function.
