Oracle E-Business Suite (ERP/Apps) 11.5.10 Software Download

Hi Atul,

It’s lucky for me to find such a great site.
So I decide to give myself a homework:
Install Oracle application

After I install Linux 5.2 x86-64, I try to download oracle software but get a little confused.

I find the following download options but do not know which one I should choose.

Can you give me some hint about that?

Instead of Linux 5.2, try this on Linux 4 update 4 or higher (select all RPMs during Linux installation. 11i installation should work on 5.2 as well but I never tried on Linux 5.2 so can’t give you list of issues)

Select “”Oracle® E-Business Suite Certified Configuration Release 11.5.10.2 Quarterly Update 4.0 Media Pack for Linux x86-64 “”

and then select all files

ihave installed oracle 12.0.4 version on windows 2003. and started working on applications navigator but unable to understand the logic of report submission. pls guide me

I’m trying to install 11.5.10.2 on RHEL x86.
QU 4.0 is unavailable for x86, but available for x86-64 on e-delivery
Is it an error from e-delivery ? ebs 11i should only be available for Linux x86 (Note 357098.1)
So, can I download 11.5.10.2 x86-64 media pack, for an x86 installation ?

I downloaded R12.1.1 from Edelivery and did on RHEL 5 (64 BIT) , working fine , i was not aware that 11.5.10.2 SOFTWARE IS available in Edelivery , just for a small query , i have downloaded the stage for 11i that is in Edelivery as follows : Please brief me that it is ok or not and can i execute in on ORACLE ENTERPRISE LINUX 4.5

The total size is coming is 15gb , which is in DVD format , is it ok or not… As the Stage should be around 26gb , so i was getting bit confused , can you please clarify

I had a set of disks containing the 11.5.10.2 installation, but unfortunately I lost the “databases” part of the installation.
So I started looking for it and found your post.

I was very happy to see that the old release is still available, but going by your directions I can only find release 11.5.10, without the CU2.
Is there still any source where I can download 11.5.10.2 ?
I guess downloading that 11.5.10 databases part will not mix very well with my 11.5.10.2 installation…

If you have support agreement (licence) then you can ask Oracle to ship you 11..5.10.2 CDs or you can try upgrading 11.5.10 to 11.5.10.2 by applying CU2

Atul, for Windows 32 bit, the s/w is not available on edelivery, I have login to metalink, can I download it from there, if so, what patch number.

I do have oracle apps installed on my laptop but now i am facing a problem.when i open oravis using sysadmin as username & password, & after that when i try to open any form in any responsibility it dosent open can you guide me what to do for that.

Check if pop-ups are enabled . Try clicking forms link couple of times.

Also try with different browser like Firefox

I am currently using oracle apps 11i on my windows XP.but i need to have a backup of it.please guide me what should i select from e-delivey ( which u have provided )since every description have a sub description to download.& i am not getting what should be downloaded & what should not be.
I haven’t installed it before.

If you want to backup your 11i installation then all you need is shutdown services (apps tier and database) and then copy to anoter location.

If we download Oracle from eDelivery. Is not create any problem for us? Means Too costly. But I want to Learn it so.

I am trying to download ERP 12.1.1 on my laptop but i am not sure which platform i should select and would it make a difference? i also need to know if this download is sufficient or there are any other downloads are required, i.e. for the operating system to be setup on VMWare.

On vmware you must be installing an Operating System like windows or linux or solaris.

If you are planning to install Linux 64 bit on VMware then you should download ERP 12.1.1 for Linux x86-64

After logging in into https://edelivery.oracle.com/, I am not able to find “Media Pack Search” anywhere. Can some one help me on this?

When i go to the link you gave above,I find below lines written there.

Download R12 (12.1.1)

1. Login to edelivery here

2. From Media Pack Search screen, select Product as E-Business Suite

when I click on “edelivery”, it is redirecting me oracle homepage and I am stuck there!!

Currently we are having 11.5.10.2 on HP Unix. We want to migrate it to RHEL 4.0. If we want to do a fresh 11.5.10.2 install and do a db export and import, we do not have the exact version of 11.5.10.2 but have 11.5.10.2 QU 4.0 only available in e-delivery site. What steps should we take to proceed with this migration. Your suggestion would be highly appreciated.
