I am trying to install OWSM standalone (Basic installation) on Windows 2003 standard edition. I have downloaded Oracle Web Services Manager 10g (10.1.3.1.0) from http://www.oracle.com/technology/software/products/ias/htdocs/101310.html.
And after installation it is working perfectly.
After this I have downloaded OWSM patch 6148874 from http://updates.oracle.com/ARULink/PatchDetails/process_form?patch_num=6148874.
I tried applying the patch (both running OC4J running with WSM application is stopped and OC4J is down). But after installation these changes takes place.
Before applying patch After applying patch
OC4J Port 3115 8888
WSM services on OC4J Installed Not installed
I have some doubts
I have to manually install the WSM services and how?
Patch installer never asks for oc4jadmin password?
Patch installer never prompt to shutdown?
There is no directory bpel through which I can update the database.

I can’t understand your question
Patch installer never asks for oc4jadmin password?
Your is standalone OWSM and steps mentioned above are fro SOA (Integrated BPEL, OWSM, ESB) suite

You don’t have to carry out this operation as this is for SOA with BPEL or standalone BPEL upgrade.
Check http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E10291_01/doc.1013/e10095/patch.htm

Before installing patch there were WSM application(ccore, coreman, gateway, policymanager) in OC4J’s application tab(Middleware Services).
But after applying patch WSM application is not there.
I come to know that patch 6148874 can’t be applied to stanalone OWSM if database is Olite.
Hi atul….
i applied patch 6148874 to upgrade Oracle application server 10.1.3.1 to 10.1.3.3 in solaris 10 SPARC 64 bit
After that i have to run upgrade_10131_10133_oracle.sql file .But i dont have that folder database/scripts
what i have to do now …
It is possible to download that file ….
we are waiting for ur reply…….
Siva,
Don’t you have BPEL directory in your ORACLE_HOME ?
If not that means you are not using soa in 10.1.3.1 and you can safely ignore upgrade_10131_10133_oracle.sql (This script is used only if you are using BPEL component in 10.1.3)
i got it ….
thanks…
