Oracle Application Server 10g R3 patchset 5 (10.1.3.5) is available as Patch 8626084 and steps to apply patch (to upgrade SOA/OAS) are very well documented in Read Me of patch.

Key Points for 10.1.3.5 patchset

1.OAS/SOA 10.1.3.5 (Patch 8626084) is patchset and NOT complete software which means you can apply it only on exiting 10g R3 (10.1.3.X - 10.1.3.0, 10.1.3.1, 10.1.3.2, 10.1.3.3, 10.1.3.4 )

2. If you are upgrading from 10.1.3.1 version to 10.1.3.5 then upgrade Schema orabpel & oraesb schema
– Connect as ORABPEL schema and run upgrade_10131_10135_oracle.sqlfrom “10135Patch/ Disk1/ install/ soa_schema_upgrade/ bpel/ scripts”
– Connect as ORAESB schema and run upgrade_10131_10135_oracle.sqlfrom “10135Patch/ Disk1/ install/ soa_schema_upgrade/ esb/ sql/ other”

3. If you are upgrading from 10.1.3.3.0/10.1.3.3.1 version to 10.1.3.5 then upgrade Schema orabpel & oraesb schema
– Connect as ORABPEL schema and run upgrade_10133_10135_oracle.sql from “10135Patch/ Disk1/ install/ soa_schema_upgrade/ bpel/ scripts”
– Connect as ORAESB schema and run upgrade_10133_10135_oracle.sql from “10135Patch/ Disk1/ install/ soa_schema_upgrade/ esb/ sql/ other”

4. To upgrade binaries/software/codeset (ORACLE_HOME) start  runInstaller from “10135Patch/Disk1/”

5. You will need oc4jadmin and owsm(database schema) password during 10.1.3.5 patch application
