1. Is there any way to upgrade web logic 10.3.3 to 10.3.5.
Yes, there is patch for WebLogic 10.3.5 which you can apply on 10.3.3 to upgrade it to 10.3.5
Thank you Atul. I could able to upgrade weblogic 10.3.3 to 10.3.5 and I have installed all the patches.
Do I need to go through the configure process again for IDAM and OIM components as they were already existing on my weblogic with version 11.1.1.3.0
Reply@ vamsi56,
NO configure process is not required again. Did you upgrade schema from 11.1.1.3.0 to 11.1.1.5.0 using psa (patch set assistant) ?
Schema upgrade using RCU, I have done that. But, I do not know how to work with patch set assistant.
Reply@ vamsi56,
For patch set assistant (PSA) in Fusion Middleware , check http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/E21764_01/doc.1111/e16793/patch_set_assistant.htm#BABEBGEJ
Atul,
The document was helpful, but I am already on 11.1.1.3.0 and need to upgrade to 11.1.1.5.0
Vamsi.
ReplyHi All,
When I am trying to run the Patch Set Assistant (PSA) I am getting following error.
UPGAST-02003: schema is not registered in schema version registry: “DEV_MDS” ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
Command that I used is below,
./psa -dbType Oracle -dbConnectString //HOSTNAME:PORT/ServiceName -dbaUserName SYSUSER -schemaUserName DEV_MDS -logLevel TRACE
Thanks,
Kumar
ReplyHi Atul Kumar,
I’m using Weblogic 10.3.3, RCU 11.1.1.3.0 OAM 11.1.1.3.0, Database: Oracle 11.2.0.1.0
Now I want to upgrade OAM 11.1.1.3.0 to OAM 11.1.1.5.0.
Please send me the step-by-step procedure.
Thanks,
Nagendra
This is a question for Atul regarding upgrading 11.1.1.3 to 11.1.1.5. I followed the instructions in Oracle published 1318524.1 document/note and did the artifacts export/import using the migrate.sh script and the migrateArtifcats WSLT. The question I have is after this process,
I don’t see anything in the OAM agents or the data sources. I noticed that on the document is mentioned to re-create the data stores, which I can do. I can even The key issue/problem/concern I have is what about the additional data in OAM and(or) IAU schemas. How does that data get migrated to the new schema? Little confusing.. Also what does the artifacts migration bring to the upgraded environment…?
We had a fully function 11.1.1.3 environment in place for about 7-8 months.
Would appreciate if Atul or someone else with experience in the upgrade area can help.
Replyhi atul,
i need some step by step process to configure sun one directory with oim 11g version 11.1.1.3
@ Avinash,
What version of Sun one directory server you are using ?
Hi,
can anybody tell me the way to find the latest patch version installed for OID and OVD
@ aksy005,
Check this http://onlineappsdba.com/index.php/2012/03/22/how-to-find-oid-version-and-patches-applied-on-oid-home/
For OVD version , do you see this file $ORACLE_HOME/conf/server.os_xml ?

ReplyHi Atul,
Is there anyway to download SOA (11.1.1.5) as it is not available in OTN site any more? Only latest version (11.1.1.6) available.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks
Reply@biswastt,
Did you check edelivery.oracle.com ? under fusion middleware section.
Hi Atul ,
Thanks for your quick response. I have found below two SOA software in edelivery.oracle.com. I am not sure if these are patch set or full version. It looks ‘full version’ by looking the size of zip files. Sorry to ask very basis questions as I am beginner of middleware.
Oracle SOA Suite 11g Patch Set 4 (11.1.1.5.0) (Part 1 of 2)
Oracle SOA Suite 11g Patch Set 4 (11.1.1.5.0) (Part 2 of 2)
Thanks.

ReplyHi,
I installed IOD 11.1.1.5 from file
ofm_iam_generic_11.1.1.5.0_disk1_1of1.zip
following the OTN link of the ‘full’ install.
When I try to add OID to my existing 11.1.1.5 domain I am seeing these options
Oracle Identity Manager (11.1.1.3)
Oracle Adaptive Access Manager Server 11.1.1.3
Oracle Adaptive Access Manager Offiline 11.1.1.3
Oracle Adaptive Access Admin Server 11.1.1.3
Oracle Entitlements Server 11.1.1.0
Why do I see 11.1.1.3 and not 11.1.1.5? Did I use the wrong file? Which file should I download to have ‘full’ install of 11.1.1.5 without patching if such does exist or should I use ‘patch’ file now for the 11.1.1.3 release?
Thank you,
Anatoliy
P.S.
If I just just select any of the above components and click next I am getting message
CFGFWK-64071: The selection conflicts with templates already installed in the domain.
Oracle SOA Suite: 11.1.1.0
Oracle SOA Suite for Developers: 11.1.1.0
I had very difficult to find 11.1.1.5 version IDM suite to download from oracle site,
